Write your people down

Write down the small and important things people tell you about themselves: their favourite chocolate bars, a movie they want to see someday, a place they want to visit, their fave constellation.

Write down cool things that they say or do.

App or natty leather book, no matter: the words don’t care. Just get these details down so you can remember them in the future.

Create a word map of people you are close to, because sometimes it’s nice for you to roll that map out and remember the many contours of that person, the views that appear only from a certain angle or year, and to remember the paths you’ve walked and talked together.

And then share this sunshower of memories with your people - that is awesome.

If you are young write people down because you will forget these beautiful details in your distracted state.

If you are old write people down because you will forget them in your protracted state.
