The world is not full of selfies

Remember that other human beings are not just like the face in your selfie (that is, others are not just like you, they are just like them).

Everyone is different from each other, with a different mix of motivations, fears and insecurities, and passions and awesomeness.

So don’t treat other selfies just like you want to be treated, and don’t expect them to act just like you (you don’t want them to do this of course, you want them to be different; difference is the seasoning of life).

Remember this as you meet people, and build relationships with them. The unique mix of what works for you, what motivates you, what angers you and what makes you laugh will not be the same for any other person in the world.

Doesn’t that make you want to pay close attention to each of the other selfies you meet?
