Draw, write poems

drawing of a book and brain

9 of 60

You do not need to be good at drawing to draw.

You do not need to be good at writing a poem to write a poem.

You don't need to be “good” (however that would be defined) to do anything creative. It’s not about that.

Just try it: even if you’re not crazy about the result, and even if you don’t share these things with others; just do it for your own self.

Do it to express yourself, to yourself (you may be surprised at what you create). Keep the drawings and poems and look at them occasionally.

Keep a notebook or App for your creations. Drawing and writing stretches your brain in a very pleasant and unique way. And, one day, you may find a person or some people with whom you want to share your creations, or you may want to draw or write something especially for someone you love.

People appreciate when you share these things that you have created with them. Express yourself - to yourself first, and then to others if the mood strikes you - by drawing and writing.
