Call them by their name

Doesn't it make you feel good when someone calls you by your name?

Doesn’t it make you feel like that person is really listening to you and paying attention to you - talking with you versus talking to you.

Don’t you appreciate when someone you met last week remembers your name when they see you next?

This is one way in which most humans are the same. People appreciate when you remember and call them by their name.

Don’t use someone’s name too much. Like salt, using someone’s name should highlight the flavour (theirs!) of the conversation without being obvious.
