Adopt an artist

Spend 15 minutes looking at paintings, drawings or poems online.
Doesn’t matter which ones. Try searching “original art” and then click on a few you like.
Notice a few pieces of art that you like, visit a few artist’s websites or IG pages. Then look a bit more into the artists that you like; find more of their work visit their websites. And then take an artistic leap: choose 1 artist to go deeper with.
Adopt an artist. Learn about that 1 artist and their work. Read about their failures and successes (most artists spent a whole lot of time working very hard without a whole lot of recognition - artists are typically tenacious and passionate; 2 great traits to emulate).
Download images or poems to your phone, so you can look at something that you think is beautiful - anytime you want. How cool is that? Put that image, or the first lines from your adopted poet, on your lock-screen.
Print a few images out and put this art on your wall.
Realize these artists are are a lot like you, even if they can do one thing better than you can. You can probably do one thing better than them too.
