Address problems, don’t ignore them

“Best not to back into a buzz-saw” is something a boss told me way back when.

Which I always took to mean, if there’s something out there that you think may be a problem, or already is a problem - stand up and ADDRESS IT now or address it soon, or it may address (bite!) you later when you’re not expecting it.

Better to have a plan and be ready than to wait.

And, very important, a lot of the time the things we think in our heads are crazy loud buzzsaws-buzzing turn out IRL to be just mosquitos.

Address the big things, and squash the mosquitoes so they aren’t bugging you.
