Acknowledge awesomeness

26 of 60
Stop and wonder at the amazing things people do.
I once watched a baker grab two handfuls of fresh bread-dough at a time from a massive tub and form each into a perfect bun shape with a flourish-twist of her wrists, and then drop them neatly onto a baking sheet, again and again until there were about a hundred perfect tight circles of dough in about 10 minutes, all while answering questions from customers and looking them in the eye with a smile.
That is expertise and awesomeness, and it can be acknowledged - to yourself and also to them.
Tell that baker she is awesome.
Celebrate awesomeness in others and you may be more open to seeing it and appreciating it in yourself, because you have some-awe too.
