How do you know if you’re doing it right? (this applies to almost all ‘its’).
Great question! If you are asking yourself this question you are paying attention and paying attention is necessary to do things right, or at least it’s necessary in order to do things righter. And righter is the goal.
Often you won’t know for sure if you are doing ‘it’ right.
But, by asking yourself this self-aware and searching question it is very likely that you will do ‘it’ better as you think about ‘it’ and as you pay attention to where the answer takes you.
And remember to give your own self a break - be truly and consistently kind to yourself. If you aren’t doing ‘it’ as right as you would like but are trying your best, and paying attention, then you are doing fine.
